I am very thankful that Mr Lim helped with my Math and Amath from Secondary 1 to Secondary 4. Thanks to his attention, he could always remind me that I had been sidetracking. Thankfully, I was able to keep up and get better grades especially for my Amath from B4 to A1 in the O levels, I was also able to sustain a A1 for E Math till the O levels.

Mr Lim is a very dedicated and student-centred teacher. He provides frequent and regular feedback about our son Matt's progress and areas for improvement. During the exam season, he also offered additional lessons without cost. We did not expect this but we know he genuinely cared and wanted to do his best for our child (and the other children under his charge). We also appreciate the positive discipline he practises in his lessons as it has helped our child to stay on task and become more disciplined himself. Matt, who is moving to P4, has been under Mr Lim's care since late June and managed to achieve an AL1 for his Math EOY exam this year. We really want to thank Mr Lim for his firm but kind hand in guiding our child!

Mr Lim is a very dedicated tutor and constantly push his students to do their best. He gave constant feedback to parents on their progress throughout their learning journey and even provides extra classes when he feels the child is falling behind. I went to azken when i was primary 5, I wasn't able to pass my math till i attend azken. I thought I would be able to get an A for my PSLE, but i ended up getting a C grade. However Mr Ken Lim, did not give up on me and encouraged me saying that PSLE was not the finishing point. So I worked hard to prepare for my Sec 1 math, and my grades started improving. I'm a Sec 2 now and my WA1 - EOY results for math was all A's. Therefore with the help of AZKEN tuition teacher I managed to go from a failure to a C then to a A. Now, i manage to take triple math for my Sec 3 subject combination!

Mr Ken Lim has been my teacher since I was primary three. Some people may say that he is too strict. However, I found his rigour helpful in benefitting myself to become more circumspect in making and submitting quality work. Not only that, Mr Lim also puts emphasis on independent learning, allowing us to ask questions when in doubt and request for extra lessons when needed, paying attention to our individual needs even in a group setting.

Mr. Lim is a dedicated teacher who maintains class discipline, has a sense of humour and is results-oriented. A rare gem in a time when "practice makes perfect" is almost forgotten. My 14 year old became more confident after a year of guidance and he almost made Math her favorite subject when she used to hate it. My 12 year old improved by 2 grades during her PSLE after a post prelim crash course.

Under Mr Ken’s guidance, my son has progressed a lot in his Science. Ken is very focused in his approach and understands my son’s area for growth. He took much time and effort to support his learning and my son understands his teaching. We are very blessed to find such a dedicated tutor who goes the extra mile to nurture the students.

Mr Lim is a strict but patient teacher. His lessons are fun too and I always look forward to attending his class. He puts in a lot of efforts to make me score well like having many additional lessons for free. I managed to get AL1 for Math and AL2 for Science in PSLE 2022 under his guidance. Grateful to Mr Lim! My girl struggled to pass her math exam since P5. She was so demotivated every time when she failed math exam. But now she told me she so grateful to have Mr Lim as tuitor. She found math is like solving a puzzle and she enjoys doing math worksheets. She is looking forward tomorrow PSLE math paper!

For a first, being in Mr Lim’s class has been a joy as he is a very committed teacher. He doesn’t hesitate to help his students when in need, and repeats himself when necessary. Before transitioning to zoom lessons, he often provides me with extra lessons that are free of charge! He also pushes his students to strive for the very best, which can be a little stressful sometimes, but I know he does so out of goodwill. And well, after transitioning to online classes, what I really like and appreciate most about it is the fact that he’s made the effort to created a google drive where he uploads all the necessary materials for lesson. Furthermore, I am able to submit my homework that he’s given us onto the google drive where he’d then proceed to mark it prior to our next lesson. This ensures that he is able to track my progress so as to help me improve on my weak areas. Furthermore, it’s easily accessible to me so that I can see the mistakes that I’ve made. This system that Mr Lim has established has definitely assured me that having online classes instead will not affect my progress. Thank you Mr Lim!

Edit : just received my o level results in 2022, and achieved A1 for Amath and A2 for emath. This certainly wouldn’t be possible without Mr Lim’s help. One month before o levels, he offered us longer lessons for free ( usual 2h lessons to 3h lessons ). Furthermore, he made sure that our doubts were cleared so that we were prepared and ready to sit for our papers. Mr Lim is certainly a very dedicated teacher! Thank you Mr Lim!

Math has always been one of my weaker subjects. However, with the guidance and patience of Mr Lim, it has now become one of my stronger subjects. My math has improved greatly thanks to Mr Lim and his classes have made the subject more enjoyable for me. Highly recommend to join AZKEN.

I would like to thank Mr Lim for his help with my maths. Because of his patience and knowledge, I was able to score full marks in my recent secondary 2 maths paper. Mr Lim is a good mix of ‘stern’ and caring teacher… my son’s understanding of the subjects have increased greatly after attending AZKEN… and the tutor had unselfishly put in lots of his time for the students to ensure they are on the route to success…
